Dear valued clients of Waukesha Animal Hospital, we are happy to announce that we are slowly allowing clients into the clinic starting 6/15/20.
We ask that you please be patient with our team during this transition. With the increase in disinfection protocols and additional precautions, appointments are expected to take longer than usual. Please know our team is working extremely hard to help make your visit as safe as possible.
Medical and Annual Exam Appointments

When you arrive for your appointment please give us a call and wait in your car. We will then call you when a room is available.

Ø  Masks must be worn to enter the building. Please bring your own mask to the appointment.

Ø  Once we are ready a technician will come outside and escort you and your pet through the door marked ENTER

Ø  We will ask a few brief questions regarding Covid-19 exposure

Ø  You will be asked to use hand sanitizer after entering the building.

Ø  We will get a weight on your pet and then go directly into an exam room

Ø  Please limit 1 client per exam room

Ø  Please practice social distancing and keep 6ft apart as much as possible

Ø  After your appointment is completed, we will check you out in the exam room and instruct you to exit the building through the door marked EXIT

Technician Appointments: will continue to be CURBSIDE

Tech. appointments include nail trim appointments, anal gland expressions, laser therapy, vaccination boosters, other injections, blood draw appointments, etc. Curb-side Services must be pre-scheduled as an appointment with a technician. We will obtain a brief history on your pet over the phone prior to appointment. At your time of arrival PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR call 262-542-2541 and a team member will come out to your car to assist with bringing your pet into the building.  A team member will then contact you to go over the services and fees via phone. Once the visit is complete the technician will bring your pet back out to you.

Medications - Food - Preventatives: CURBSIDE PICK UP

At this time, we are NOT allowing clients into the building to pick up prescriptions, food, and preventatives. There are 2 options:

1) Curbside pick-up: Please call ahead as far in advance as you are able and we will get your medications, preventatives, and food ready. Once your order is ready for pick up, we will call you and obtain payment over the phone. When you arrive in the parking lot please call 262-542-2541 and we will bring your order out to your car.

2) Online ordering for delivery: Vetsource, our online pharmacy, is available to have items shipped directly to your house.

CURBSIDE CARE OPTION

For our clients that are at a higher-risk, immunocompromised, or have respiratory conditions, we will continue to offer curbside care as an option.

At your time of arrival PLEASE REMAIN IN YOUR CAR call 262-542-2541 and a team member will come out to your car to assist with bringing your pet into the building.  A team member will then contact you to go over the services and fees via phone. Once the visit is complete the charges can be taken care of via credit card over the phone and the technician will bring your pet back out to your car.

We kindly ask that you take the following precautions before visiting:

· If you, or anyone you are in contact with, is experiencing, or has any possible symptoms of COVID-19 such as: fever, coughing, loss of taste/smell, or symptoms of a respiratory infection; stay home and call your medical provider for advice on next steps.

· If you have traveled to any high-risk areas in the last 14 days or are quarantined due to potential COVID-19 exposure and your pet does not require immediate veterinary care, keep them home and avoid contact with other people and animals. We’ll be happy to help you reschedule any appointments for your pet until you are well and past the quarantine period.

·If your pet requires emergency care, please call ahead so we can ensure your pet’s needs can be met and advise you on next steps.
